Simón I. Patiño Centre, Santa Cruz

Situated in the heart of the city of Santa Cruz, the Simón I. Patiño Centre publicizes all the techniques and methods developed in the Foundation's various activity centres, in their respective sectors.

Through exhibitions, conferences, films, etc., the people of the country's most populated city can therefore benefit from the Foundation's achievements in the fields of education, culture, health, hygiene, agriculture and ecology.

Thanks to a vast gallery, int ernational art works can be presented, concerts can be performed, and meetings with writers, film-makers, musicians, etc. can be organized.

The Centre is also a platform allowing the exchange of ideas on the main issues faced by the country. In addition, it supports educational actions carried out in the peripheral neighbourhoods of the city.

Eventually, the Centre will host the Dissemination department of the Simón I. Patiño Centre for Applied Ecology, along with its important library.

This new center will be fully operationable at 2004.
