The Simón I. Patiño Foundation organizes a variety of cultural activities on a regular or occasional basis, independently or in collaboration with other institutions and organizations.
These activities, which are essentially focused on contemporary arts and education, relate to all the main areas of artistic expression and take place at different locations, both locally (in Geneva) and internationally (in Europe).

In particular, it organizes and leads each year the International Music Encounters, with the Camerata Lysy (of the International Yehudi Menuhin Music Academy).

The Foundation also awards annually, in partnership with the City of Geneva, Art Scholarships to the Cité internationale des Arts in Paris, where the Foundation has several artists' studios.

Lastly, it endeavours to promote South-American art and cultures, through general or specific events in Europe, and mainly in Geneva.
